On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we are pleased to invite you to participate in the 2nd International Congress of Earth Science and Construction, to be held in October 2015 in Sangolquí, Quito, Ecuador. The Congress will be organized and mainly sponsored by the Universidad de las Fuerzas Armadas ESPE, in close cooperation with government and private organizations.
After the tremendous success in participation and abstracts presented at the 1st International Congress of Earth Science and Construction in October 2013, we were encouraged to organize this event again here, close to Ecuador´s capital, demonstrating the strength and vitality of the Ecuadorian Earth Science community based at ESPE. Once again, the major focus will be on areas of Geodynamics, Risk Assessment, Structural Engineering, Geography and Environmental Sciences. The campus of the ESPE has been a frequently used venue for a variety of international scientific events such as workshops, symposia and congresses in the fields of science, technology and engineering. All relevant information concerning the venue and registration can be found on the Congress website: http://geo1.espe.edu.ec/2ndo-congreso-internacional-dectc/ Further information on accommodation, programme and events will be posted at a later date.
